The authors have been treated 11 patients with Peyron disease by application of low-energy laser in September 2000. The age of men in the group with this diagnosis ranged between 28 - 61 years and they have been treated by oral or parenteral application into the plaque with no effect. They have evaluated the influence of laser therapy on pain, induration, deformation of penis and erectile dysfunction. Pain has disappeared in 100 % of the patients, objective diminishing of induration was found in 82 %, in 50 % correction of deformation was observed and in 67 % erectile dysfunction has been corrected with favourable effect lasting even 3 months after termination of therapy. Low-energy laser is effective in Peyron disease therapy. Disadvantage is high cost of the laser.
