Navrátil P, Krajina A, Novák I. Nephrostomy drainage tube displaced in the inferior vena cava. The authors present a rare case report of massive bleeding after the replacement of percutaneous nephrostomy drainage tube (PNDT) as part of the management of renal obstruction in retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. The situation was managed by performing an urgent CT scan that revealed displacement of the drainage tube in the inferior vena cava (IVC) and, subsequently, with a vasography procedure.

Keywords: Percutaneous nephrostomy, inferior vena cava.
