Every year, the annual conference of the Czech Urological Society is the most important professional event of the country's urological community. It is an opportunity to present the results of scientific work of individual centres. A carefully prepared abstract of a paper that meets the given criteria for both content and form is a prerequisite for a successful presentation at this forum. It is advisable to prepare the abstract as well as the whole paper in order for it to become the basis of a good-quality scientific paper for publishing in the Czech Urology journal or another relevant periodical. The aim of the present paper is to provide the readers with comprehensive methodology for writing an abstract.
