Introduction: Urethroplasty is one of the technically demanding procedures. The treatment of complex urethral lesions affecting multiple parts of the urethra at the same time is a challenge for urologists. Finding the optimal therapeutic method can be of fundamental importance. Kulkarni\'s technique of one-way dorsolateral onlay substitution urethroplasty using oral mucosa has been the preferred method for the treatment of long and complex urethral strictures in the world in recent years. The aim of this communication and video presentation of the surgical procedure is to present the experience of our department with two patients who underwent...

Nephrolithiasis in a transplanted kidney is a relatively rare but clinically highly significant complication after kidney transplantation. Even a small stone may lead to urinary tract obstruction, infection, acute deterioration of graft function, and in exceptional cases to graft loss. The reported incidence is heterogeneous and ranges approximately from 0.1 to 6.3%; however, in modern population-based and multicentre cohorts it is most commonly reported at around 1-2%. Clinical presentation is often atypical because the denervated graft frequently does not produce typical renal colic. Diagnostic evaluation therefore relies mainly on regularly performed...

At the Krajská nemocnice Liberec, intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) immunotherapy was administered to approximately 140 patients between 2019 and 2025. We present two case reports - a patient with miliary pulmonary tuberculosis and a patient with a tuberculous abscess located beneath the pectoral muscle following intravesical BCG therapy. Both cases illustrate the importance of early recognition of complications, timely initiation of appropriate antituberculous treatment, and the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach.

Major statement: The study presents a case report of an inverted urothelial papilloma, discussing its clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment. It emphasizes the importance of properly obtained histology, complete resection, and considering regular follow-up due to its potential association with urothelial carcinoma.Summary: Inverted urothelial papilloma (IUP) represents a rare benign neoplasm of the urothelium, characterized predominantly by an endophytic growth pattern and most commonly located in the urinary bladder. Clinical manifestations are nonspecific, and the lesion is often diagnosed incidentally. Although...
