Stress incontinence is one of the most important things, that evaluate negative quality of life millions of women all over the word. Prevalence of stress urinary incontinence is in adult women, but it occcurs in all women population. Only a small part of them purpose these problems to solve. Stress urinary incontinence is defined as any involuntary leakage of urin. Presently it is evolved a big effort accros the world to health education and awareness in female urinary incontinence problem. Treatment of stress incontinence became to be more successful with using tension free tape applications. The next important step in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence could be a new medication therapy.
In therms of our clinical study we compared effectivity of duloxetin. It is a dual inhibitor of re-uptake serotonine and noradrenaline. The outcomes of our study group of 10 women with stress incontinence on medication therapy seem to be promise, but in compare to effectivity of tension free tape procedure it is clear, that we can expect good results especially in women with mild and middle grade of stress urinary incontinence.
